Magnetic resonance imaging
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an imaging technique that uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed cross-sectional images of joints (menisci), soft tissues, or the spine (intervertebral discs) without the use of X-rays. Please click on the image to view the content.

Bone density measurement
Bone density measurement, also known as osteodensitometry, is a special X-ray examination (DXA: dual energy X-ray absorptiometry) that determines the mineral salt content of the bones. It provides information about how permeable the bones are to X-rays. The higher the permeability, the lower the bone density.

Sonographie
Ultrasound (sonography) is a radiation-free, painless and risk-free imaging procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves to visualize internal organs, tissues and vessels in real time. It is often used as a first diagnostic method in many specialties to detect, for example, inflammations, tumors or circulatory disorders. However, the image quality depends on the experience of the examiner and the nature of the tissue (air/bone block the sound).
